Re: Thursday 6th Nov Mojos Mundaring

Nine riders met up at GJ for a ride up to Mojo’s, to be joined there by four more. Going on Lefty’s suggestion last week the destination decided was the Puma Roadhouse at New Norcia. To add a few curves before the straight sections we went out via Stoneville, Strawberry Hill and Brigadoon. Back to t...

Re: Thursday Oct 23rd MOJO'S MUNDARING

With the weather still ideal for riding, nine riders gathered at GJ for the ride up to Mojos. The route taken was through JF National Park, Parkerville and Stoneville. At Mojos the numbers grew to fourteen, not including the resident quenda. A dozen riders left via Parkerville, Hidden Valley for a s...

Re: Thursday October 16 DOME KELMSCOTT

Nine riders left from GJ to meetup with three more at Kelmscott Dome. After the usual discussions the majority left for the usual outward leg south following the railway line, staying off the highway. The Tonkin Hwy extension has meant that Hopkinson Rd southwards does not join Thomas Rd, so we went...

Re: Thursday 2nd Oct BYFORD Dome

The expected group departed GJ for Byford. The run-down Tonkin was surprisingly free flowing. We took the usual loop via Connell Ave to bypass Kelmscott missing the traffic and slower sections. With few already at the Dome the group made up an even dozen. After the usual banter the DDD was shortened...

Re: Thursday September 25 MOJOS MUNDARING

An interesting ride lead by PBee from Mojo’s. About a dozen riders rode out via The Lakes, Talbot, Dale, Pingelly, Bullaring, up to Kunjin and on to Corrigin. Most stopped for fuel as this leg was 250kms although mostly with a tail wind. The Mallee Tree café is another great venue with great atmosph...

Re: Thursday 18th Sept Mojos Mundaring

Only a few turned up at GJ for the ride up to Mojo’s. Initially thoughts were this was due to the forecast with a 25% chance of rain. This assumption proved wrong with the quite a number already waiting at Mojo’s. A fine but cool ride up via John Forrest NP and Parkerville. The destination accepted ...

Re: Thursday August 28 MOJOS MUNDARING

For the record, just a quick summary of the ride. A metric dozen left Gjs for the usual Helena Valley run up the hill, with one going direct via the Hwy. With the fine weather, the numbers at Mojos was up to sixteen. A baker’s dozen left with P/Bee leading a ride up to Yerecoin. Several peeled off a...
