Grey Day brightened by Bright Blue Smurfs

The day started with the armchair experts in dispute over an adjacent vehicle being a HQ Holden Monaro or something else. It turned out to be a Chevrolet SS Commander from South Africa which was a rebadged Holden Monaro with some tweaks to the bonnet and grill. The EOI project initiated a lot of air...

Re: For Peats Sake

Raider
It would not get out of hand if the discussion was as close to 100 percent proof as your chosen whisky (where the peated barley is sourced from Scotland)

For Peats Sake

Middling sized group at Catalano's on a day that threatened precipitation. Eight riders were in for the Sunday radar roulette with Toodyay as the selected destination. A conversation about Peat permeated the day with differing views about the location of the greatest Peat resources in Australia. One...

Saving the Geese for the Gander

There was a massive turnout in Victoria Park with over 40 bikes at Catalano's and Dome. Great to see a Norton Commando nestling amongst the BMW airheads. Rod Rocket Peter brought a Kawasaki Ninja ZX 14R 40th Anniversary Model that got a lot of attention. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-qsk6stP/0...

Mandarin Twist

On a welcome dry day there was a substantial turnout at Catalano's with distractions such as David S packing his R18 for camping, Richard's flying visit in a BMW Izetta, Ray marketing a BMW GS, Andrew talking about rocket fuel and Mercaptans and Lefty attempting to sort out his GPS. David P, David S...

Rain Radar Roulette

An attenuated attendance at Catalano's this morning with wintery weather and road closures to accommodate runners. Only 12 riders and a few vehicles made it. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-ZBJ4fRd/0/Lc2z5NKJj2KdcqBhsFsbK5VbfSHxDnsLTWQW9VF3j/X2/i-ZBJ4fRd-X2.jpg Six riders were regular rain radar...

Roos on Rails

Another stunning day to go for a motorcycle ride. A solid turnout at Catalano's for the Sunday gathering, including Noel who made it to both the Dome breakfast and Catalano's event. Fourteen riders were involved in the run to Dwellingup. Peter Bee, Pete 2 volts, Cameron, Wightman, Rod Rocket Peter, ...

Flying on Great Circles

A big surprise on Sunday at Catalano's with Dave S arriving on a shiny black BMW R18 Transcontinental. https://photos.smugmug.com/photos/i-Bg2B7n3/0/LVSBD7CT8sMcJ25tmRj7QKw6qrcs54LVrzpdqGtSD/X2/i-Bg2B7n3-X2.jpg A dozen riders circled their way backwards and forwards to pilot their way through the Bi...

Flying 14 to Toodyay

Smaller turnout of BMW’s at Catalano’s this Sunday with many of the regulars breezing their way to Nannup for the annual airing of the airheads. The event did not curtail the Sunday ride with 14 flocking to Harvey Street to celebrate the impending end of kid’s school holidays and double demerit poin...

Easing into Easter

A great gathering at Catalano's on Sunday with a plethora of resurrected airheads making an appearance and John Tuckwell bringing his Krauser after a bit of publicity on the variant. Ten riders were happy for a run to the north taking in the Haddrill Road climb up the scarp and then meandering throu...
