Riding Around the Gascoyne Region

Posting up this video compilation I put together of my trip through the Gascoyne Region. It's also on our Facebook page so I'm posting here if you don't have a Facebook account. As it turns out I was actually doing the Kingsford Smith Mail Run from Meekatharra to Carnarvon via Mt Augustus. Awesome c...

A Succinct History of BMW Motorrad

I'm fairly new to the world of BMW bikes having first ridden a R1200GSA around Normandy late last year. I was so impressed by it that on return to Perth I started looking and subsequently buying my R1200 Beemerhoth in December that I've affectionately named La Boganette. The bike i rode in France is...

Re: Cookie

Sorry to hear about your accident, Cookie and more so about the broken ankle. 6 weeks in a cast? You should be able to get back in 4.

Speedy recovery mate and maybe one day I'll get to actually see you on a bike.

Re: Some one had to finish the Leonora/Gwalia/Lake Ballard R

In contrast to Bozo's blue sky ride, here's a video of what I had to contend with on the road to Lake Ballard on Easter Sunday. I'd never done any kind of flood water crossings on a bike before so this was a teeth gritting real challenge for me. Plenty of flood crossings and the last one was almost ...

Re: York April 17

Thanks once again Bozo for leading us through some magnificent routes. I reckon you're the king of back roads with (minor) hoon tendencies when appropriate. I managed to get hold of a motorbike wrecker in Melbourne who's sending me a complete spotlight to replace the failed glue gaffa job. Hopefully...
