Re: 5th Annual Great Nannup Getaway: October 22, 2022

Swampy Thanks for all your efforts in making NANNUP No5 happen. Coming from a different direction I didn't get to enjoy Mark's tour but nevertheless enjoyed punting the K1600GT through the Southwest and catching up with you all again. I left it too late to book a room so ended up in my tent in the c...

Great Divide Ride Stage 2

Flying out today to Sydney to pick up my KTM that's been sitting in a mate's garage for a year to join the Maschine Great Divide Ride Stage 2.
Should take 8 days to ride the Great Divide Range tracks from Hunter Valley to MacKay.
Then the plan is to ride home from Mackay, via Mt Isa then south west.

Re: Cape to Cape ride (Leeuwin to York)

Hi Steve I might be over that way in mid May. My bike is already there (NSW) & I expect to be in Mackay sometime around 10 May. Will have to get home somehow so could possibly ride with you. I will probably be in a hurry though. I think the Cape to Cape record is around 98 hours?

Re: Pre Christmas Ride 23rd Dec.

Thanks Brian/5 for leading us on a very interesting tour including some nice sweeping bends for me to wobble around on my new bike. Thanks to Pete for waiting for me. Was a great ride on a warm but pleasant day. The ride home was fun too, even at 35 degrees plus - 509km for the day on the big K16. M...

Hi Swampy I plan to join you all at Nannup, have booked room, registered on events page but unfortunately won't be riding an RS! Please tell Pete we'll be 'doing an Isuzu' from Narrogin two up on the HD, plan to see you around 1600 in Nannup.

Hey Kots thanks for the great video. Looks like you had a great ride. I'm looking forward to a few rides soon after a few months off while my arm recovers from an accident unloading my GS off the trailer. See you soon.

Glad you enjoyed the ride Nev, great to see you down south again and even better to be let loose on the shiny new 1250! One small detail for anyone retracing your trip - I reckon it's more likely Right into Datatine Rd?

Re: Red Light stops Bozo Rides

As Bozo writes we've been asked to reduce non essential travel and we have a club member (recently returned from interstate) bragging about doing a 750 km ride through Dwellingup & Collie 'while he still can'! Sounds pretty selfish. Stay home Mr 'Raider' & show some consideration for other f...

Re: BMW K 1300 GT windshield.

Konrad I haven’t dealt with the supplier you hilighted but can I suggest you look at fitting an Aeroflow screen as recommended by the Iron Butt Association. I have had one of their screens on my 08 R1200 gs for about 7 years now and it’s great. Expensive to ship from USA when I bought it but no crac...

Re: Sunday morning off-road ride

Sounds like a great ride Jean - thanks for the pics. If you're looking for a bit more 2/5 off roading I am keen to do another run from Narrogin to Merredin off/dirt road. Tracks are easy to follow & good going until they get too wet. Might be a bit tricky after this week's rain.
