Re: Thursday 21st November MOJOS MUNDARING

'Ken oath. They were terrible for two days in Harvey, even 10pm at night. Someone was saying they're always bad this time of year. The early ones are out and the dung beetles haven't started their thing yet. It should sort itself over the next month according to this person. Still, I don't remember ...

Re: Seven Stoic Souls Sustain Scattered Showers Seeking Sunshine

Lovely ride and a well-chosen interesting route as always. Thanks Chris. The countryside is very green with hints of yellow canola breaking through here and there, more noticeable to the east. Despite the rain, for me these winter rides in the wheatbelt are refeshing for the change in season and the...

Re: Thursday 18th July MOJOS MUNDARING - Doubtful

A great ride with a couple of interesting diversions and alternate paths through the countryside.

Its very green out there folks, as a couple of kangaroos reminded Brian by trying to hitch a ride 🦘.

Thank you to Brian for a nice job leading, all done without gps! 🗺️

Most rain overnight, not too bad by 8:00am according to BoM. I'll head on up and check again as 9:00 rolls around.

Re: Dwelling on Etiquette or Winging it

Thanks for the welcome Bozo and everyone else. It was good to be back amongst the club members after a sometimes wet, three week 8,000 km solo trip. The club is going great guns and the Sunday ride remains as popular as ever, with 16 riders this week, thanks to Bozo's route picking skills and hard w...

Re: Thursday February 29 MOJOS MUNDARING

Where's the ride report ya slackers. You'll have to put up with this one instead. Swampy & I had a very relaxing ride in the cool air and calm wind conditions of early morning. Departing Mundaring at 8:00am to The Lakes, Great Southern Hwy to York, Northam, Katrine Rd to Toodyay. A coffee and a ...

Took myself off to the ER that night. Broken scapula. Bummer. Can't ride. Now to get the bike repaired over the Xmas period. Not looking forward to that. Thanks everyone around at the scene. Helping get the bike off me, standin me up, taking photos, getting details. You guys were fantastic and a cre...

Re: A mob of emus

I got a puncture on Toodyay Rd after we all split up, and had to limp home from servo to home. Flat tyre today.😫. It's almost out of tread so probably not worth repairing, I'll get a new tyre instead.

Swampy, I came back from Cunderdin early this morning and it was wet mist and 6°C the whole way up to Perth outskirts. Commiserations mate, but at least you were able to get out and about!

Re: Thursday Ride June 16 MOJOS MUNDARING

I was feeling the aftereffects of a COVID booster and didn't get going until mid-morning when I headed off to Toodyay via Chittering and Julimar Rds in some vague hope of catching up with you since you'd mentioned heading north east, or perhaps Swampy. The Cola Cafe was closed with a family emergenc...
