I am planning to do a compression test on the R80G/S if anyone wants to see how that's done

Fantastic rollup to Alex's

The trip was worthwhile to see the Pinkovations....
Fridge airconditioner
Dustbuster-Dental Suction
R1200C fuel vent
Swarf plug for fuel tanks

At times the rumbustious crowd was so quiet you could hear the wind in aged crankcases.

Brian replaced an alternator belt in five minutes but took hours to tear down and rebuild the pistachio 1100 gs.

Jono had more equipment hooked up to his bike than a Formula One Car.

Others were tuning, drilling, watching and flashing lights.

Lots to discuss and lots of opportunities to offer irrelevant advice.

Looking forward to the next one.

Here Here, what a great turnout, a mixture of grey hair, oily, airheads and probably the largest ever Female attendance (on their own bikes), photos will turn up in a magazine soon some where close to you:)

As Bozo pointed out - helpful advice abounded, I was working on frequent kilometre points - arriving on R65, leaving, returning, leaving on R65, returning on R1200RT and finally going home

Thanks go to Alex for hosting the event.

Hats off to Alex for a truly useful outing, with many small jobs done. I'm on the verge of offering Jamie $200 for his panniers...........watch this space
