Tuning Day 07 April 2018

Tuning Day to be held at my place Saturday 07 April 2018, commencing 1200hrs. It was mentioned that we could have a tyre and tube patching/repair demo if anyone is interested. I have one damaged tyre we could practice with, and I am sure Peter at Tyres for Bikes could provide an old tube. All other aspects of the Tuning Day - repairs etc - will still be available. That's a pity Brian - around 20 here today - a few repairs conducted on various bikes, and then the tyre/tube repair. I can re-run the repair session again if anyone wants?

Terrific day at Noels place this arvo with a fair mob showing up including Jack who quietly a efficiently replaced his starter motor with only a few pints of blood loss.

Thanks so very much Noel for all your hard yakka and time spent wiring up my new spotties. An excellent job mate.

an excellent presentation by Noel again showing the group how to repair tubes and tyres with a lot of good advice for everyone.

Plenty of repartee flowing too and from with Swampy copping some flack for trying to keep his pipes warm for the coming Winter by wrapping them up against the chill to come

It was a good day - thanks to those who attended for making the day successful. If I am in town in the later half of May, I can host another day. Everyone seemed interested in the tyre and tube repair demonstration, so if there are other procedures that anyone would like to see and it is within mine or another members ability to conduct, please let us know and we will attempt to arrange something.
