For those not headed to Nannup on Saturday the 10th of October, there will be a tuning day held at Nev's place in Kingsley. The usual start time of midday, and as always let let us know if you have any special requests! If there is an enterprising member who feels like organising an early half day ride ending up at the tuning day for a sausage sizzle then post details here. Anyone needing the address should contact Nev or myself for details.
I will lead a ride meeting at Gingers time TBA and head up to Two Rocks then down the coast to Kingsley. Will stop for a coffee at Yanchep or Jindalee.
We were lucky to have Pete from Mobile Motorcycle Dyno (https://bike-dyno.com.au/) attend to dyno-tune a couple of air-head HPNs and Beau's 1938 BMW R66. The R66 pushed 20 hp and an incredible 90 mph on the trailer-mounted rolling road. My 2008 BMW R1200 GSA bucked away and made 105 hp before bouncing off the rev-limiter. The BMW R18 didn't make the day. That would have been a blast.
Wheel balanced; oil changed; service lights reset; throttle bodies synced.
Lots of smiles and laughs, quality snags, onion and bread buns.
Thanks Alex for organizing Pete. Thanks Pete for a spectacular demonstration of your capability. Thanks TA for your fabulous cooking. Thanks Jono for picking up the tucker. Thanks to all those who attended.
spacey... out...
