"A scrambler is a road bike with extra grip tyres and no lights fitted"
"You can assemble a motorbike in three hours with basic mechanical knowledge."
A much simpler time.. great to watch.

Me and a mate shared a 1954 ex-GPO (General Post Office) 5cwt Morris 800cc van and a trailer we made to get our bikes to meetings in the Sixties.
I had a 250 Greeves as per the video, it was well past it's sell by date when I owned it though.
Bert Greeves was a bit of a genius, you could put almost any engine you wanted in the frame, 500cc Triumphs were very popular.
I did a whole season on one back tyre, it was buggered after two or three meetings but I couldn't afford to replace it, just like the chain and sprockets.
I don't remember it being simpler, just bloody hot, or cold, or wet, or dusty, or out of money, or broken bikes, or hungry driving home after the meeting. Some of the best times!
Nostalgia, it's a thing of the past.
Some people are like Slinkys, you can't help smiling when you push them downstairs.
