I am looking for a GPS mount to suit a Garmin Zumo660, BMW no longer have the mount in stock? it was designed to pick up the mounting bolts for the handle bar risers - placed in the centre, very neat and tidy.
If anyone has one that I can replicate, or they would like to sell let me know.

Re: GPS mount for R1200RT
I recently got one for my R1150RT, which is an R1200RT part. Great device, from Motorrad Garage. You can have a look at it if you wish. At about $150, it is worth buying and not worth pi$$ing around with replicating. Why buy BMW parts? There are better aftermarket parts out there.

Re: GPS mount for R1200RT
Thanks Geoff and Bully,
I have ordered a cute item from Mototoys (out of NSW), for $120, a Z Techniks 6151 Techmount, picks up 2 bolts from the handle bar mounts - 15 minutes to install, just need to find out the torque settings for the bolts. Maybe a perfect task for the next service day.
Cheers Cookie

Re: GPS mount for R1200RT
I think that is what mine is, Z-Technics. A very well made accessory that means for $120 or so, not worth killing a good riding day making something less exquisite. I was thinking I'd have to modify it for the R1150RT but it just bolted on, and if it takes you more than 15 minutes, you are doing it with one hand!!!.
