Well Folks, poor old Elsie's slippers were looking a little threadbare and worn so I thought I would treat her to a makeover.
The old boot( car tyre) after contributing many, many kilometres of tireless wear(excuse the pun) has now been relegated to the "Old Boots" home where she can rot in peace!!
I replaced her with the Michelin Pilot 5 that Bemer Dave so kindly donated to me a couple of years ago! Thanks Dave
I called into the haberdashery department, Ground Floor at Munich Motorcycles and picked a new Rear Rotor (Garter), bolts (suspenders) and Brake pads (never you mind!!) and these were eventually adorning the Chassis (mmmm) which brightened and gave a refreshing look to Elsie's rather gorgeous derriere, at 42psi it's nice firm and rounded
And today I propped up Elsie's front suspension which was sagging when I removed her support (tyre) and replaced it also with a new Michelin Pilot 5 complete with sprules.
I boosted her bust up to 36psi and I reckon now she would give any young BM a run for their money
You can check her out on Sunday folks but mind, she is particular about who handles her AND............... Mind your language!!
