Brekkie at Dome!!

Post by Swampy »

With just a few early showers forecast for the morning I decided to brave the weather and avoid a heap of derision from my mates and rode my BBBB to the Dome in Victoria Park for breakfast!!

Of course I got wet along the way but thought it was worth a bit of discomfort in order to impress the boys!!

I was a little perturbed to notice Wes minus bike sitting waiting for the mob, Next to arrive was Scruff also minus his bike stroll in and to cap it off the group hardman "Nannup Nick" arrived minus his bike the first time in living memory!!

My BBBB was looking rather lonely and dejected parked up in the funeral homes Parking bay until my faith was partially restored as Vic arrived on an actual motorcycle to keep it company.

The name "Dandy Boys" for our group has therefore been renounced and we will now in future be known as the "Inglorious Bastards" or just whatever you consider the right fit before Bastards!! Per example "Bloody Bastards etc!!

Also joining our group for brekkie was Nurzo, Lefty, Media Mark and Peter with our beloved President Cookie, Ross Currie and Bozo making short cameo appearances before adjourning to Cat's to be with the main mob!!

The usual good banter and frivolity prevailed in the group before it was time to depart for home which saw the less enabled ones scurry for for the shelter and comfort of their tin tops out of the rain and for the small group of stalwart tried and true BMW Club Member brave the elements astride their respective prides for the journey home!!

PS: For General Information. The main reason our small group is remaining for the time being at the Dome instead of the normal venue is for three valid reasons: Good Coffee, Good Food and Fast and Efficient Friendly Service!!

A combination you just can't beat!!

Also for those of you that might frequent the Cola Cafe in Toodyay, Mike the owner had a stroke las week, he has survived but now faces a few months in Rehab, for speech therapy and to regain mobility of the right side of his body!!
The Cafe re opens tomorrow, Monday but will be closed on Tuesdays for the forseeable future,

It is good to note that the Toodyay Community has rallied around to support his family during this worrying time!!
