So having read the various opinions on an upgraded website it looks like there isn't a need or appetite to invest substantial funds in an enhanced website.
If this is the case, I would like to hear other member's views on the idea of engaging the services of an historian to write a history of our club.

Re: Club History
Goldie and Lefty could write volumes. Incentive for a beer-for-scripts? John
One of the things we could look at is an honour board with Chairman, Secretary and Biker of the year, in 3 columns, for each year since the club started. I know a carpenter who could do one. John

Re: Club History
Thanks John
My main motivation behind this is that when I attended the Border Run last year I heard lots of great stories about the exploits of fellow club members, especially those of the founders of our great club.
Given we (the club that is!) have a pretty healthy bank balance I think it would be a very worthy investment. Once established, it would be pretty easy to keep it current.
I would be happy to investigate how we might go about this if there is sufficient support amongst the club.....
