Thank you very much! This is a very useful site. I wanted to travel from Moscow, through Mongolia to Beijing (China). Next, Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. In Singapore find Maritime transport to Australia. I read the site for hire motorcycles. You're right - it's easier. Just fly on a plane, take a Moto in hiring and go on a trip to Australia. I have to you have a request: please check the traffic police, a Russian driver's license suitable for Australia? With respect. Sergey.

Today on March 26. In Moscow minus ten degrees Celsius. In the Berlin plus twenty, in Paris +15.... the Opening of the motoseason was postponed for a month.

Hello Sergey, I believe you should see the Australian embassy, and obtain an International Drivers Licence, and some translation of the details of the licence

Sergey
Having ridden across Russia I can assure you that Australia does have some safety issues - yes we have floods, snakes, cyclones, fires and a number of other hazards. However, the drivers wont drive towards you and force you off the roads, the police wont stop you 5 or 6 times a day and check your papers, or ask for money, drivers don’t drinking vodka while driving and we have road signs warning you of upcoming hazards.
I suppose it depends country experience

Re: Hello! I am from Russia
Sergey - we have a major safety issue you can encounter if you are not careful - it is called "riding with Ken". Many members new to the club go for a ride with Ken and often they return with either a broken bone, broken bike or both.
We are doing some research into this phenomena though progress is slow given the conflicting reports of events leading up to 'the incident' between Ken and the other rider (victim).
I think this is a safety issue you need to make all of your fellow riders who visit Perth know about.
