Most importantly, the presence of a smart head on his shoulders. Russia, Africa and Australia - has no value. You go to experienced bikers. At the same time, look forward to supporting your club. I really want, what would you have made friends.

GSDisciple wrote:Sergey - we have a major safety issue you can encounter if you are not careful - it is called "riding with Ken". Many members new to the club go for a ride with Ken and often they return with either a broken bone, broken bike or both.

We are doing some research into this phenomena though progress is slow given the conflicting reports of events leading up to 'the incident' between Ken and the other rider (victim).

I think this is a safety issue you need to make all of your fellow riders who visit Perth know about.

JP is quite right. Ken is something of a dirt guru. And yes I did break my femur, but I was trying to follow Ken possably where a GSA shouldn't have been. I would suggest that Ken is safe as long as you feel confident about riding in the dirt on a Suzuki DR600 not the 1200GSA

Если я правильно понимаю, Кен отличный байкер. Это очень хорошо. Русский мотоциклист как танк - грязи не боится.
If I understand correctly, Ken great biker. This is very good. Russian rider like a tank - not afraid of dirt.

Don't start putting words into Kens mouth. I will correct your translation.

Ken biker, this is very good
Ken rides a Russian tank ( Dr 650)
Russian rider not afraid of dirt
Most problems can be solved with a suitable application of throttle!
Bitumen is a tool, to get you to the dirt.

Hi Sergey,
I met some of your friends on Friday night at the Barbeque. Very nice, friendly group of people, with some good stories.
I hope to meet them on the return journey.
Cheers

Hi Sergey,
are your plans still on "track" for coming to Australia in November ? Are any details yet confirmed?

Hello! Hard to say. I'll try, but my injury may change the dates of arrival in Australia. It all depends on the doctors. I had the X-ray picture. The bone fused. This is very good. I was told that there will be a second operation to extract the metal plate. When it is, I do not know. Yours. Sergei.
