Motorcycle Transport from NSW to WA

Post by Evelyn »

Does anyone have a contact for a reputable motorcycle transport carrier. Looking at buying an old BMW in NSW and getting it over to WA. I have dealt with Waynes Motorcycle Transport previously. Great service, but want to know if there's anyone out there who can do it cheaper than $1300.00 Cheers, Ev.

BMW R50 - 1956
Needs a bit of work and it's un-registered. I recon if I sweet talk Richard he'll help me fix it.

Hello Evelyn

I used a company called Bikes Only to bring an R80GS from Sydney to Perth. They charged 975 for door to door delivery.
They will give you a quote based on the pick up and delivery address and if you want to save a few dollars you can have them deliver to a depot in Perth and you collect, or you can have the bike delivered to their NSW depot to save even more. Web address is http://www.bikesonly.com.au/

Cheers

Evelyn,
I used BIKENUT (http://www.bikenut.com.au/motorcycle-tr ... rvices.php) who use a generic bike transport service, to move my BMW from WA to NSW. Door to door, cost me $750 from memory, and the service was great.

Geoff......now residing in Northern NSW

Thanks guys. I ended up using Waynes Motorcycle Towing. He came in cheapest. Depot to depot. $1100. Still bloody pricey if you ask me! Unfortuneately, all the bikes I like seem to be over East. Should be here by mid-May.
