One thing about India is that when you are sitting in traffic you often hear a motorbike with a different sound thoud -thoud-thoud. When you look around you'll see an Enfield moving through the traffic.

An to top it off I've now found that they modify them to suit a real Bikie!!!

Looks like just the thing for the Mumbai traffic....long raked wheel base, poor stability, poor handling and underpowered.

The only modifications that a motorbike needs for India are crash bars, an air-horn and a cattle prod.

hi Ken, Glad you have found a replacement for the DR. Hard to believe anyone would spend to time modifying and Enfield to make it handle worse!

I can just picture you rocking up at the "TAJ" on one of them Ken, Complete with Sari and "Safety Boots"
