What do you want to know?

Turn left 60 K's east of Hayden on the Norseman road. Follow the track.

Throttle on and hang on......

Simple really.

But if you really want to know more, this may be a start.

Hi I've just completed the Holland Track on my GS 800 and used the free EveryTrail guide - link follows (may have read the West article). Happy to share all our lessons -pm me questions (don't do it when wet...).

If you are a smart phone user (Andriod or i phone) you can download the app to your phone. The benefit of having the ET guide onto your phone is once out of phone coverage - you can still view the trail guide and see where you are on the mobile map on your phone as it uses the GPS chip.

To buy the Everytrail Pro App and use this download guide function costs around $4.00 app and I have tested this on the Holland Track :P

Koos said it -The" hang on" part is especially appropriate if its wet - didnt work for me though I spent a considerable amount of time lying down next to my tired bike ... in the mud

RE - ..."in the mud..." would not suggest riding it when wet, a very experienced rider told me and I can see why - put simply it would not be a fun or enjoyable ride

" in the mud" - yep I could see the Salmon gums coming up -thats where the slippery stuff was so I knew that soon i would be having another rest - I must say it got a bit too predictable ! After that ride I too would agree best not ridden in the wet and not by yourself.

Ah yes, the Holland track in the wet!
I did it in the wet and at night, I left the track at one stage and got caught up in the scrub, took me an hour to cut my bike out, ended up lost, heart broken , whimpering in my tent curled up in the featal position smelling my soaked boots and listening to the rain, ended up I was only 100 m from the good dirt road at the end.
That mud is like ice in the rain!
