Does anyone have an oxy-acetylene set I could borrow (to use at your house or mine) to conduct a 2 minute job to braze a nut onto a piece of tubing. I have the brass rod and flux. Thanks in advance.

hi noel,
got one you are welcome to come & use but you might find someone closer. If you decide to head to Bakers Hill let me know what size bit you want( I'm self taught so don't know if that as the right term).

Thanks Pete. When are you free so that I can come out. I am busy this Saturday and also the following Saturday with the Club service day. "Bit" = 'Tip". Either an 8, 10 or a 12 tip will be fine - do you have any of these. Cheers Noel

Pete

A vet with an oxy acetylene set is a scary thought. They must have iron horses up your way.

see you round like a rissole

Noel, got a 5,7 & a 12 TIP, I knew bit wasn't the right word. Just have to make sure new hoses go on ok. Give me a call 0418900865

Hey pete, use the oxy to cauterise bleeders when we do surgery on the rhino down the road. Doesn't happen often but nice to know he won't bleed out.
