Melbourne - Taz - Sydney Tour

Post by CAdams »

Guys,

A couple of questions, I'm considering going on an organised tour next year run by Compass Expeditions, the tour starts in Melbourne - Tasmania - finishing in Sydney. Firstly can anyone recommend any bike transporters from Perth ?

Secondly, I attended the Off-Road skills course last year but have done nothing off-road since, does the club offer any help in getting riders up to scratch with off road skills? ie. not start off on silly tracks and end up breaking bikes and bones.

I dont really have any close friends that like off roading, I ride a GSA and dont like riding off road alone becuse she's a bitch to pick up on my own.

Cheers
Chris

6th of October the Perth Adv riders are doing a " snail trails " ride aimed at beginner level riders.

Go to advrider.com and search for snail trails perth. All are welcome. Should be meeting/timing details shortly.

G'day Chris, I just used BIKENUT.com.au to move my 1150GSA from Colac Vic to Perth a few weeks ago, fantastic service. nothing was too much trouble for James (this was who I liaised with), and a good price at $810.00. Bike came over by specialised bike transport and I would definetly use BikeNut again.

cheers Jim
