just a quick reminder for all who don't attend our monthly meetings,

next weekend 19-20 October 2013 sees the first ever event on our doorstep here in sunny WA. With over 60 folks registered, International travellers attending and a full program of instructional workshops, so get yer bums up to Yanchep.

Just got back glass of red poured - several club members attended, what a weekend, 94 registrations, a really positive attitude and we just wished off attendee Dominik Hellweg from Germany in style - he is starting off his RTW journey today (starting with Australia) on a GS 800 (good choice).

Dominik's journey started with attending the Perth event. Feedback was very positive, longer update and report when recovered. Given feedback and enthusiasm - there will be another event - but we will may need a larger venue.

I couldn't attend as it clashed with the Conquer Cancer ride ..... next year I'll get there.

Following the first Perth Horizons Unlimited meeting with HU founders Grant and Susan Johnson, several members rode a guard of honour for Dominic Hellweg from Germany to send him off on his round Australia journey.
