DI Mondo's Midland.

Post by Swampy »

6 Intrepid Pioneers ventured into Midland this morning for breakfast.

Mike Stothers (Ahab) and his lovely Princess from Toodyay, Chris and Beckie, Jamie Sewell and yours truly met up at Di Mondo's in Midland.

They open at 7AM and our group enjoyed a nice breakfast in pleasant surroundings, Market Day on the street every Sunday morning so NO thru noisy traffic to disturb the peace.IE Harleys or Masaratis.

FREE PARKING across the road and staff had set up tables and chairs outside ( As per Cat's) for us to enjoy the ambience of the fruit and vegetable stall set up in the street adjacent to us.

Locals appeared to be friendly enough with a couple of comments (complimentary) made to us by a steady stream of shoppers passer bys.

Breakfast was good and at a reasonable price and the coffee was in large mugs and enjoyable.

The group agreed that venue was good as a meeting place for breakfast. An added bonus is destinations for rides North, South or East were easily accessible with no city traffic to hinder departures for riders.

The group lingered for a while over coffee and enjoyed the banter and good humour inherent in the people in attendance.

In all an excellent morning was enjoyed and is well worth the club considering it as an excellent alternative venue to Cat's.

DID I REMEMBER TO MENTION THE FREE PARKING :?:

Well Done to Ahab for the suggestion. 8)

PS. Anyone get a parking ticket yet :?:  (Rest assured it won't be me)

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Bully

It is closed all Saturday so it would not matter if I was on Swampy time or DFS time it would have still been shut.

When it is open it is open for breakfast and lunch.
