I'm looking for a two bike trailer, does anyone know of one for sale?

I want something capable of hauling a couple of GSA's securely and safely over east and back again.

The Kennards hire units are okay for dragging a couple of MX'ers to Lancelin and back, but I'm not comfortable using them with this load over a distance of 7,000kms or so.

Just ride them, less likely to damage them, less fuel, more fun………….and thats what they are designed for!

If you mean to trailer 2x R1200 GS Adventures then the problem you will face finding a suitable trailer is width. The GSA's are a little on the porky side, one will have to face forward and the other back. I have a 4x8 box motorcycle trailer and fitting 2 GSA's would require the above scenario and both would have their outside cylinder hanging out over the box frame. There will be 1/2 tun in the trailer so the legal and practical load limit will also factor, you may need a double axle braked trailer.
Having said all that you sold your GS so now I'm wondering where the 2 GSA's come into the picture

You're welcome to have a look at my trailer and even borrow it for the exercise, however I think you really need something bigger!

And of course, you are quite right.

However, I rode east to west a couple of weeks ago and the boredom hasn't gone away yet!

Well spotted. The GSA's are a R1200 and a F800, but I reckon it will still be too tight with an 8 x 4 trailer. An 8 x 5 trailer should make it secure, safe and easy.

I've found a brand new 8 x 5 three bike unit and if purchased, it could always be sold after the trip or, maybe keep it for the next one.

The two bikes wet and trailer combination fall below the braked requirement, but for a few hundred dollars more why wouldn't you?

Chris, you worry me......bored.... on a bike; what's happening. If it's the chain that worrys you, fit a Pro Oiler with GPS control....perfect bit of kit.
