I've followed Digger (on my HP2 fully loaded for a camping trip) through his 'short cuts' up around Mt Dale. So did you for that matter . Wish I had my helmet camera with me at the time... I'm sure some of the ruts were as deep as the Grand Canyon!

You could be right about the ruts, I'm sure I saw a LandCruiser at the bottom of one of them.

But these make my feet hurt for a different reason!
