Recognition of two Outstanding Club Members

I would like to express my appreciation and grateful thanks to two members of this club who over the last couple of days have shown to me what wonderful people we have riding amongst us.
Firstly Tom alias "Snaga" who although having an important sale of a bike of his fall through and having an unfortunate "off" on his beloved 800 at Mt. Augustas earlier this year has been generous enough to sell me a set of Trax Expedition Panniers for a price far reduced from their true worth.
His pannier frames didn't suit "baby Blue's" svelt lines so I purhased a set from the lovely Petra at a nicely discounted price at Motorrad Garage in Welshpool. Thank you Petra.
Next comes Noel alias Bwanainoz who called around my house with the express purpose of checking out an Air Hawk seat he was considering purchasing from me.
I mentioned I had difficulty in fitting the frames on my bike and he suggested we have a closer look with the result of Noel spending 4 x hours of exasperation fiddling and struggling with what one would assume was a simple enough job, Not to be!!.............But I will let Noel explain that at his liesure.
AS a result of the time spent and his considerable efforts for a job well done I gave the Air Hawk to Noel gratis, although he had protested that ......"This is what being a club member is all about".
Today I phoned Snaga re: the Cam Locks that fasten the panniers too the frame as they appeared to be absent on the frames I had purchased.
As a result Snaga drove from the "Sand Dunes" of the North to my humble abode just a little North of Antartica with Gill and a Daka frame from his old bike and two panniers. One was 45 litre and the the other 35 litre. Unfortunately the 35 litre was the wrong one but no matter.
Over a cup of tea and a natter we discovered that the Cam Locks and other fitments were an extra $35 not included in the price of the frames which I had not been informed about.
We both found it strange that the Panniers the Frame and the Fittings are all separate purchases and not included as a package purchase??
In his kindness Snaga gave me the fittings free off his Daka frames which he will sell on later.
I believe these these two guys possess all and more of what this club embodies and they both should be recognised as such, Their kindness and genorosity is above reproach and I wish to thank them for being part of this great club and my life and for restoring in me so much of my lost faith in humanity and human kindness.
Thanks so much Noel and Tom you both have a friend for life and I owe you both more then I can ever repay.
Regards
