Good day gents, I'm new to the forum and have applied for membership to the club.

My name is Mitch and I ride a 2006 BMW F650GS. Owned it for about a year but have only done about 3000km due to ankle surgery but its on the mend and I'm back on the bike

Hope to meet some fellow BMW riders, any other F650GS owners on here?

Members usually meet at Catalano's Restaurant in Victoria Park on Sunday mornings between 7AM and 9AM for Breakfast, A chat about anything and everything to do with BMW motorcycles and sometimes times a ride may be organised for interested parties.

Few pics of my bike. I've opened up the dummy muffler, has more of a thumper sound now. Also done an intake mod, not quite cutting the snorkel off, just two big holes before the temp sensor, those two minor mods seem to have helped smoothed out the throttle a bit, it is a big single though so doubt it will ever be smooth. Got some soft panniers and a home made luggage rack on the rear.

Couple of LED spotties up front, renthal bars with bar risers, taller screen and braded front brake line.

Next up is a small front sprocket, new chain etc when its due. I did a valve check on it the other day and its still well within spec, was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the motor when I removed the rocker cover, super clean!

Over all I enjoy riding it, I'm a short arse and fit quite well on it.
