A past work colleague of mine, Mike Balfe, has been killed in the US whilst cycling.

You have very good reason to avoid the crazy drivers on busy roads even if it does mean grief with punctures and a feeling of insecurity.

If that is the death that was reported recently I was aware of it. I have had some close calls but no injuries. I am one of the lucky ones. My condolences to his family.

A great adventure Steve well done. The video made one feel they were with you without all the obvious workload you put into the trip. Keep these videos coming mate
