OCR oldhands

It's your...Editor n Chief 8) here...I am not really an off road rider, since being in the club I have not really had anything to do with the OCR. A few years ago Robin did give me a short rundown on it's history, the event does attract a fair following, I feel that it is worth a few paragraphs within the next mag issue, as it is coming around again soon. Sure that many newer club members & myself would appreciate a short rundown within a few paragraphs regarding what the event is about.
As mentioned, just a few paragraphs, would appreciate if someone could put in the small effort required.

The OCR (Official Cash rate) is set by the Reserve Bank of Australia. The importance of this set-point has a huge impact on the Macro economic settings of the whole Country Guy. I ride on the Road and I too look forward to hearing about a motorcycling event named after this important Economic variable.
