Just a quick hi as a new member. Have been watching the site/club for a while & have finally decided to join. Currently only have an R1150GS, got rid of the G650GS last year being surplus to requirements at the time (a regrettable decision). I'm looking forward to catching up with club members & going on some of the rides, particularly the longer ones & overnighters.
Cheers

It will be good to see you in the Club. I can recommend the annual dinner in Jennacubine. A cracker, for sure. The 1150 will enjoy the ride there.

Re: New Member
Welcome aboard mate, Also why not come down any Sunday morning to Catalano's in Victoria Park between 7 and 9am for brekkie/coffee and to meet other BMW riders!!
Most of us are pretty friendly and are always willing to discuss anything BMW motorcycles!!
There is usually a ride organised afterwards of approx. 300ks if you are interested. Maybe a bit damp this Sunday but you will still find a few of us down there anyway!!
Regards

wightman & Swampy, thanks for the welcome.
Jennacubine is looking good at this stage, should be able to confirm soon. Only a short ride, a walk in the park for the 1150 (probably get there before I do!).
Sunday mornings are slightly restricted at the moment with obligations elsewhere, but should be able to make at least one per month for the time being.
Looking forward to finally putting faces to some of the names that appear on this forum.
Cheers,
Rick

Hello Rick
Check out the rides list for ride to Jennacubbine dinner, we usually take the less direct route to get somewhere.. I won't be at breakfast this week due to HBF Run for a reason

Hiya Cookie,
Yep, seen the listing in Rides. Keen to see what route you come up with.
Can't make this Sunday morning either, so will have to wait a bit before I get to meet the crowd at Cats.
Enjoy your run, don't over extend!
Cheers,
Rick
