New Michelin Pilot 5 tyre

Post by Swampy »

This morning I called into "Tyres for Bikes" in Victoria Park to pick up a new rear tyre for Elsie.

The cost was $289 reduced to $260 as I was not having them fit it for me as there is still some wear left in my old tyre.

I decided to cash in my prize voucher now before it expired and to keep the tyre stored until I need it.

I have "Bemer Dave" to thank for me being able to pick this tyre up for a very low $60 because he very generously re donated the voucher he had just won from TFB to the draw at last years Christmas in July function 8)
As a result I won the subsequent draw and the voucher!!

Thank you very much Dave for very generous donation that then gave me the opportunity to pick up the prize. 8)

I would also like to thank "Tyres For Bikes" for donating such a terrific prize to the club!!

This really IS a great club to belong to!!

I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

G'day Swampy, hope you get many a pleasurable kilometre out of your new tyre. Couldn't have gone to a more deserving member of the club, you got no idea how happy it made me when your name came up. Good things certainly come to good people.
