I have strange luck with number plates. My car is 1DAG-XXX. My GS was 1DH-XXX. My new bike is 1BS-XXX. Maybe I need to take something on board here

Another one who thinks like that, when I had my last GS, proud as punch I brought it home, Jacky has a look, and goes, "You're a Dick Head!" , she then smiled and wandered off.

I looked at the plate, it was 1DH-***. Gah.....

But Bry, in my case I question the meaning of the plates relative to the rider. In your case, well........ ....what can I say?

Whoops.......better set the cruise control huh? This bike has one too. Might also apply for some new plates in the mean time to maintain anonymity. Can I buy you a coffee on Sunday Bry, or is that considered a bribe?

no... I can't make it for a few weeks,busy... roster is awkward, but all the best for the new toy, is it a 12RT or a 1150?

At least it wasnt DFC or any of the derivaties.

Greg here, who bought your GS (with the d*#k head rego plate . . . ) I never noticed the licence plate connotation at the time, but now I am aware of it, I may have to change it. I have a rego plate on hold with the licencing dept that was originally intended for my very chopped-about CBR1000 streetfighter. . . . . so your old GS might soon be wearing a plate reading "MONGREL". . . . . .hmmmmmm, not sure how that would be received amongst the BM riding masses ? tee hee

I think there are already a few mongrels in the group perhaps, so one that admits it up front will not stand out
