Nominations will be open for the next 2 weeks (closes on 21st Dec), you will need to offer the name of your nominee and a short spiel explaining why you think they should be considered for an award.
On the evening of January 11th 2021, the BMW Motorcycle Club of Western Australia Annual Awards 2020 were presented by the Committee at the Monthly General Meeting at the Victoria Park Hotel.
Chris Fitzhardinge for his ongoing commitment to lead groups from Catalanos on Sunday's, exploring the Scarp, South West, Murray and Wheatbelt, and his descriptive delivery as he guides the group along the way.

Inspiration
Steve Bly for his efforts to inspire fellow riders to get out more, despite the restrictions Steve has managed to ride further than most and provided great photos and videos along the way to record his activities – the view from his office (Sitting on his bike) is the envy of many.

Attitude and Effort
There has been several new members consistently venturing out for overnighter rides in 2020, one in particular stands out and is an inspiration, his enthusiasm is contagious and it has been a pleasure to have him in the group. He has accomplished many firsts – Dirt roads, Camping off the Bike and Camp Cooking to name a few and all from his 310GS – Joseph Nunis.

Mid week ride leaders
Brian Harvey, President, Alistair Marsh, and Peter Spencer – It is great to see consistent mid week rides venturing out into the Wheatbelt and exploring the Escarpment, whilst enjoying fellowship along the way.

Distance Travelled – In recognition of some of our Country members going the extra mile
Clayton Cream – Clayton has clocked up some serious kilometers to join in with club activities and events and displayed a wide variety of well-presented bikes.
Ray Ponting – Ray and his Grandson Christian's efforts at Karalee Rocks, providing refreshments and food for the masses was impressive. Making it to the Christmas dinner with two (2) Jason's in tow.
Viral Video – BMW R18 – Aussie Interpretation
Robin Morritt for recording his test ride of the R18 in WA country side, Dirt roads, Wild flowers, Cockatoos, farms and fences, an absolute classic and bound to boost sales – Well done. Only in WA could you pull off such a feat.

Congratulations to all, very well deserved. Over the last12 months i have enjoyed the comradship and riding with you, reading your stories, following your adventures, getting lost occasionally and meeting new faces. Thank you for everything you have contributed to the club the last 12 months.
Thanks Spacey for the photos and report on the awards. I think all members of the committee well and truely deserve a big thank you for all the work they do, which we as club members don’t see. I feel future award nights should clearly recognise and applaud their dedication.
