Capel River Classic Motorcycle Show and Shine

The Ironstone Adventure Riding Club’s (IARC) 2022 Capel River Classic Motorcycle Show and Shine.
Since then, there has been a lot going on — The Bike Shed Times has been secured to help promote the event and be its naming-rights sponsor, the venue has been confirmed on the IARC’s Club property at Capel River, we have engaged Lonsdale Party Hire to supply two 300sqm marquees, and the IARC has been in discussions with Motorcycling Australia WA and the Shire of Capel to ensure all necessary permits, approvals and public liability insurances will be in place.
The Show & Shine is being limited to 100 entrants, of which 50 will be accommodated undercover inside the marquees and an additional 50 will be located on open ground adjacent to the marquees. (Outdoor exhibitors can bring their own quick-shades in case of rain.)
We are ‘going public’ with the event tomorrow (March 1), so promotion of the event is about to begin, and public entries will be open for the Show and Shine competition. We have created a web page for the event. You can visit it here. The Bike Shed Times has also created an event on its Facebook page.
This email is giving you a heads-up so you can alert your members and contacts that the show is on, and to let them know that the Show & Shine will be limited to 100 bikes.
We also would like to invite your organisation to provide a judge to join our Judging Panel. In addition, we would like to encourage you to organise a ride to the event — we are hoping for a good turnout of spectators, in addition to the Show & Shine entrants!
We hope some of your members might be interested in being involved in the event, and it would be great if you can give this some thought over the next few weeks. We would welcome the opportunity to attend one of your Club meetings and provide more details. Just let us know if you would like us to do so.
