The funeral of Patrick Warren, who was a member for a few years, was held at Karakatta today.
He died on the 30th May after crashing his 1200RS. He had not been active in this Club for a while, as he spent a lot of time with his mates in 'Perth Riders.'
It is always sad when someone dies on the roads, but even more-so when it is someone you know.
It serves as a reminder to take care on the roads.
Our condolences to his family

Re: Sad News
Very sad indeed. There were a lot of messages on the Perth street bikes forum after his twin brother posted the news. There is aslo a pdf copy of an article in the West. He was leading 6 mates on Nanga rd 7 km south of Dwellingup when he hit blue metal leftovers from road works. No chance. Some of those following skidded as well but didn't go down.
Impossible to see, escpecially with dappled shade from trees at midday.
Channel 9 did a news story about the unmarked road hazard.
Apparently one of his favourite stretches of road......
RIP.
