Hello fellow BMW MCC WA members.
I just bought a BMW motorcycle, joined the club and registered for the forum. If this isn't the correct "Board" to enter as a newbie them please accept my apologies !
I did do a search for the type of bike I bought and nothing showed up using the forum search.
So HI ! Looking forward to meeting people next Sunday.
Here's the bike before it's first ride yesterday.
Cheers
Chris

Welcome to the Club Chris.
There's nowhere special here for intro's, so this will do fine.
regards
Pete

Hello Chris
That's a great looking bike I bet you had a smile from ear to ear after that first ride. You may have noticed on the website that we have a Club General Meeting this Wednesday from 7:30pm at the South Perth Bowling Club, come along if you can otherwise we will see you at Catalano's this Sunday!
Welcome to the club
Cheers

Hello Chris
Welcome to the club.
What a great machine, I dont know anyone else in the club that has one.
So I guess the Keys will have to go onto the table on Sunday Morning for some test rides.
Hope the auto wheelie device works well.
Regards
Old Betsy

Hi there,
I haven't joined the club yet, but I've registered on this website forum for some research
My name's Dave, WA_Pete knows me from my younger days in Darwin, and helpnig him out in his time of need
I've got a HP2 Enduro which I'm not riding enough at the moment due to family commitments, but I'm planning on coming along tonight to the club meeting to join up and to meet some new people
Cheers,
Dave Dubbelboer

Thank you for the Hello's ! I will see meet with whoever is there on Sunday Morning.
PS I think the wheelie control / limiter works, the front wheel did come up in 1st, 2nd and 3rd without any encouragement (by a couple of cm max, I'm no hoon) and is coming straight down either from that or because the change light fires off at 7000rpm encouraging me to back off or the rev limiter is set at 9000 rpm. After the first oil change unleashes the true performance of the bike I'll discover if the traction control is intrusive or life saving, I'm sure it will be the latter.

Hi Dave,
You didn't happen to be at the Blackdog Rally the other month by any chance?

Yes,
I did the Black Dog ride; the HP2 had the small (OEM) fuel tank on for that one.
Some of the people didn't know what to make of the HP2

Ahh...thought so. Didn't think there was another one out these parts.
Ride a bike like that and expect to get noticed. Ended up being quite a good 'run'
I thought. Didn't quite no what to make of the Bouncy Castles in Busselton though.
