Don't know if anyone is interested but I've come across these soft luggage bags. There a lot cheaper than wolfman luggage systems.

Hey Shadmock, soft luggage is also my preference for my new F800GS thanks for the heads up.
I have however elected to purchase the Wolfman racks and soft luggage with their new 'Rotopax' system for carrying extra fuel or water. I had considered Andy Strapz racks and bags but stuck with Wolfman.
With regards to price, it's cheaper to purchase from Wolfman (Colorado, USA) on-line, direct from the U.S even with shipping costs factored in.
Some other parts for the F800GS are also cheaper to ship in from the U.S (from sites like BMW Sierra.com etc.) than purchasing them locally.
With our dollar at close to parity with the US dollar these deals have become far more viable.
Have you seen the 'Motolock tube/bag' for the BMW on e-bay for between $20-50. This storage tube attaches to your racks and can be utilised for tools, gas etc.
Pity you can't order better riding weather on-line.

They look really well made. Do they need mounting brackets? Or do they just hang off the bike?

Cheers for that Ben. I've ended up getting the tourtech racks from Germany for $286+ postage. Not a bad price because there $588 here. Going to buy those jessie bag as well, they look really good.
Thanks for your help.

Good product choices there Dave.

Have Touratech.de confirmed your order? When I tried placing an order with them a couple of years ago (giving my WA address for delivery), they simply referred the order to TT Australia who understandably wanted me to pay the Australian price. They had my CC details so I rang TT Aust to cancel the order.

Yeh i got them from a shop on ebay in Germany. Very happy with the price. I've also found that things are a lot cheaper in South Africa for the 800gs.
