I am looking at taking a light aircraft to speed week at Lake Gairdner leaving early am 23 March and return am 27 March in Perth. This means we would have nearly 2 days at Lake Gairdner. Flying time is approximately 8 hours each way. Cost estimate is $1200-1500 per head. I have 2-3 seats to fill to make it work. We may be able to send some gear with some friends so the weight in the plane is kept down.
I need to have expression of intrest by Monady night so we can orgainse gear.
Track is Perth, Caiguna, Nullabour, Ceduna, Mt Ive and return same way, if weather is bad on the bight track will change to Forrest instead of Caiguna.

As I dont have enough interest for this years speed week the trip is off.
I have had interest for speed week 2012 so if you are considering please let me know and I can start palnning for 2012

THE EVENT WAS CANCELLED ON Saturday 19th March after heavy rain had fallen in the 4 days leading up to the event.

Yeah..how about planning for something big on 2012 maybe?
