IsatPhonePro from http://www.gmdas.com.au/
There is a special on at the moment for members of the campervan and motorhome association, of which I am a member. The special is because of the national rally in Kalgoorlie. Their office is in O'Connor and the deal is for anyone at the moment so be quick to save a buck.
Costs $599 + GST. Prepaid is $1 per minute and 50 cents a text, does email and data etc; anywhere in the world.
When you load $100 credit it lasts for 2 years.
Now here is the kicker; it beats the iridium! they claim.

Hey Kev! Won't you come along to our next General Meeting (10 Oct) and show it off to the rest of us. Besides, we haven't seen you in ages! John
