Hills, Valleys and Twisties

Post by Swampy »

What an enjoyable ride today after brekkie at Cat's ably led by the indomitable "Old Grey Beard" of the Highways and Byways himself "Bozo".

seven veterans of the road left Cat's in magnificent weather for the hills and after a short detour to explore the the roundabouts and cul de sacs of the the International Airway Industrial Park finally made it into some magnificent hills, valleys and woop de doo's and twisties. (Bozo can explain)

No more "Sprules" on Baby Blue's treads now after a spirited ride through some lovely countryside.
Wes, Kot's, German Paul, Kim and Mrs. Kim (sorry) and yours truly encountered many cyclists, Road Runners and other motorcyclists on the way to Bakers Hill for and a hot pie and a drink.

Excellent riding and great company made my day. (Good to catch up with you again Kim) Kot's departed for Northam, Wes to work, Kim and his lovely wife to Perth while Bozo, German Paul and myself enjoyed a run back through the Mundaring Wier Road.

Thanks Guys for a great day.

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."

Time for me to remove a few sprues off the face....old grey beard indeed!

Still a good ride despite the senior's moment at the airport.
