Ride - Monday 28th December

Going for a ride to York to meet up with a country member, meet at Caltex Midvale on Monday morning at 10.45 for a 11am departure. Great Eastern Hwy to the Lakes, Talbot West Road, York Williams rd to York for lunch, visit club member after lunch.

Head home via Spencer's Brook / Clackline, Toodyay rd, Red Hill, returning to metro late afternoon

All are welcome to tag along for the whole jaunt, or any portions along the way.

Four crusty souls ventured out in the heat, I left home at 35.5C and the temperature rapidly reached 40+ and stayed there for the rest of the trip, traffic was low volume and no live wildlife to contend with.
Pub lunch and member visit in York was relaxing, before visiting Bakers Hill Pie Shop for afternoon tea on the way home.

We found an "interesting" 75kph left hand bend on the way.
The tar was melted, and made for some unusual manouvers.
It was very warm, but an enjoyable ride.
I came home via Beverley, where I went to find some wine
