Destination - Mary Street Lagoon also known as Kingsley Fairbridge reserve, off Fairbridge, Mandurah.
Park has toilets, BBQ's and several shady trees, plenty of area for parking Motorcycles.
Meet at Caltex Byford, corner of Nettleton Road and Southwest Highway at 10.15 for a 10.30am departure, Tuesday 26th January.
Idea being ride down lesser roads ~2hours, arrive in time for a picnic lunch (BYO everything), enjoy some fellowship before heading back via minor roads mid afternoon.

Re: Australia Day - Picnic in a park - Mandurah
Just returned home from a great day out in the burbs, 5 bikes left Belmont, 2 more collected in Byford after a special Cookie detour via Mundijong.
From Byford we headed east on Nettleton Road, Jarrahdale road and onto Kingsbury, before South West Hwy, Dirk road, Elliot road, Hopelands, Patterson, old Pinjarra road and Mandurah bypass, over the new bridge turn left and make our way to the park.
Hermann, Monique, Goldy, Karen and Carol were already there and well established, with shade, fridge, tables and chairs set up adjacent to the BBQ's
A special thank you to Brian /5 for his GPS skills and setting up the route, Nev, Bill, Trish, Eddie, Jamie, Tom & Marion for their company on the road:}
We will have to go to Mandurah again, on a normal weekend for a play in the park or take the kayaks/ canoes.

Re: Australia Day - Picnic in a park - Mandurah
Thanks again for another great ride jointly organised by Cookie and Brian/5
It wasn't the coolest summer day on record, and thankfully not the hottest, but the riding was splendid through the hills and the dam road.
The BBQ location was cool, shady, and stacked with good food and cold water (Thanks to Herman and Goldie). That little nip of limonchello really hit the spot.
There was a heavy down-pour over the hills that would have had a lovely cooling effect on our baked bodies, but it wasn't to be...
Well done team
