I tried everything with a Heidenau K60 puncture on the GS800 some years ago. Puncture out in Midland on my way home after a ride. Got home by inflating every now and then. At home tried levers, then timber levers then SUV tyre over the bike tire. Got it done at a bike shop.

Then bought the TyrePliers beadbreaker. Never had a puncture on the GS again with Extra Heavy duty tubes [or on the DR] so never used it in anger, but keeping it as insurance. I carry it if I go remote, even with the DR..

Yes
Was a great day out on a variety of tracks
Robbo sorry to hear about the flat ,hopefully wasn't a flintstone moment lol
Also would like to give a plug to a new cafe on the intersection of Talbot west rd and Qualan west rd ,that shitty intersection that can catch you unaware ,We had some great home made soup and some not half bad coffee ,only just opened and are still sorting things out ,was a nice alternative and meant we could circumnavigate York on the way home and miss the crowds
