During the recent trip to the Goldfields I got stuck in a rut on the road to Baladjie Rock.
The Rock is near to Baladjie Lake and has unusual soil conditions being gritty but low strength when wet. All is fine as long as you stay on the compacted two wheel rut and do not break through the surface crust.

Re: Baladjie Rock
We have had 4 or 5 Club camping trips there.
The K1100LT didn't mind the dirt track, until I tried to get out in the morning, after a night of rain.
There were a couple of "interesting" patches in the mud.
