Cowslips are not from walking on pats

Post by Bozo »

Interesting morning at Cats, a few different bikes and faces. The star was Al's Western Star and his canine companion.

The cloud free sky and comfortable temperature saw eight riders commit to cruise the Chittering Valley.

A pair of participants were fresh from modelling motorcycle gear for ALDI and were dressed top to toe in European style.

Kim, Bill B, GS Bill + Trish, India Dave, Ninja Dave, Mackerel Eddy, Ross and Bozo had a quick trip to Pearce with just a bit of congestion at the Rust and Shine event at Olive Farm Winery.

We were amongst almost 100 bikes at Gingers assembling for a morning ride.

Hardly any traffic in the Chittering Valley provided an enjoyable run through the twisties. A deviation was made to the nominated Flora Road of Blue Plains Road before arriving in Bindoon.

We occupied the dress circle at the Bindoon Bakehaus before heading up Crest Hill Road and Moolabeenie Road to Gingin.

A quick stop at the Gravity Discovery Centre was followed by a commute down the Indian Ocean Highway. A few cowslip orchids were spotted but still afew weeks to go before the roads are covered in Leschenaultia.

Great to get out in such magnificent weather.

Thanks to Bill for running Tail End Charlie and for the group staying together so well.
