The thought of a pie/coffee at the Blue Wren was too much for BillB, GS Bill + Trish, Kim + Andrea, David, Nev and Braam who bailed from the trip and comprised the equal highest mutiny in the history of Bozo excursions.
German Paul, Swampy, Jean, Tom and Bozo continued on to Quindanning via the Pinjarra - Williams Road and the Lower Hotham Road. Apart from a caravan and a 49 tonne D9 Dozer we were unimpeded by traffic.
All was quiet at Quindanning until a baby shower deposited a heap of screaming ankle biters into the beer garden. Fortunately we were able to order lunch before the bulk of a large group from the Military Brotherhood Motor Cycle Club swamped the kitchen.
The widening of the Pinjarra - Williams Road has been completed and it is a joy to ride. Passing through Boddington we headed to the Albany Highway for a quick stop to refuel (for some) at the busy Bannister. North Bannister was all fenced off as we went past (definitely no fuel). At the top of the Armadale Hill we went our separate ways.
A bonus to have mild riding weather and generally little traffic. Thanks to Swampy, who was easy to spot even amongst 11 riders in his fluoro wear for successfully running Tail End Charlie duties.
