Classic British Sunday

Post by Bozo »

Another large turn out at Sunday breakfast including a bike with more decoration and flashing lights than Swampy's.

Welcome to new member Bart. Good to see the Mongolian crew at breakfast.

Nine riders plus a tail end Jack headed to Gingin for the Classic British Car Show at Gingin. Jack soon got jack of being at the back and split. Wes, Peter, German Paul, His Royal Griceness, Prof Dist, David, Stoy, Swampy and Bozo headed through the Swan Valley and were brought to a crawl by a combination of car show traffic and high wide loads. Turning off at Warbrook and taking Neaves we got to a lightly trafficked Old Yanchep Road. A quick run down Military Road and a loop through Cowalla, Orange Springs and Brand Highway got us to a packed Gingin. The attraction of Bindoon had Swampy, Prof Dist and His Royal Griceness scoot off early. The rest less Wes followed to then do a run home through the Chittering Valley.

Magnificent weather and almost 300 km of bitumen for the Sunday ride to get home too see the Eagles trounce Richmond. One of the days when getting dusty did not require a wash at the end of the day (some one got a bath though).

Thanks to Swampy and Peter for keeping the group together.
