Four of us met up a Gingers this morning, Guy, with Paul and Mark , faces not normally seen at Cat's on a Sunday decided a mid week ride was the way to go!!
On a bright, sparkling cool Winters day we left for Bullsbrook for the beautiful green Chiittering Valley Road for Toodyay. A quiet meander cruising thru these magnificient Valleys, Hills and past freshly plowed paddocks on quiet scenic roads bought us out in Toodyay for a stop at the Coke Cafe.
Local Club member Bruce was waiting for us there and no sooner had we settled down with a feed and our coffee's when Anthony lobbed up fresh from four weeks traveling in Europe and who busied himself zipping up all the air vents on his jacket last used in the Summer heat!!
He was soon engaged in a lengthy technical discussion with Mark over Mark's recently purchased 650.
We counted ourselves fortunate in having arrived for an early lunch as we were soon inundated with a large mob of people who had arrived and paraded past us on the main street in a beautiful variety of Vintage Automobiles.
Dame Margot (Alias HR Griceness followed the crowd in on his beautiful RNineT Urban just as we decided to head off to continue our journey's.
We left him with Anthony to catch up on news while Bruce returned to his local job restoring bikes and cars while Guy and I rode out of town and waited for Mark and Paul to catch up at the Northam turnoff but they failed to materialise so we slabbed back to Perth on the Grt. Eastern Hwy with me turning off for a run through Mundaring to Brookton Hwy before rejoining suburbia in Kelmscott.
A beautiful sunny day for a ride which totally eclipsed and made up for last weeks Pea Souper with Braam.

( Hope your OP went well mate and you get well soon?)
Sorry you couldn't make it today Ross but I hope your tree felling was succesfull and the excess on your Insurance won't take another nasty hit in the near future
