A massive turnout this morning. Good to see Jeff's repaired GS in the flesh even with a bit of Holland Track hiding the white bits. German Paul turned up on an electric bike that Alex purloined for a high speed spin. Bry was there with Hogan the Hulk Honda (slightly more beefier than Harry). JP was on the sweet singing Blue Wren. There were almost enough Ross's to start a chapter of Rostrum. No motorbike fires but given the temperature some may have been tardy to extinguish any blaze.
Seven riders took advantage of the clear skies to head to a country pub for lunch. Beemer Dave, BillB, Vic (on a brilliant white GS, a bookend to Swampy's shining steed but a real contrast to Jeff's Malteser coated mount), Colin, Kim, Swampy and Bozo took a steady ride to Bannister past Canning Dam before turning off to Wandering, cutting across to Crossman and beetling through Boddington. Beemer Dave must have had a bee in his bonnet as he buzzed ahead of the pack but all reached a quiet Quindanning Inne. The resident backpackers took our orders and the septet sat in the sun to sagaciously spin stories. The eastern goldfields, grimy hotels, Christmas in July, wineries and chemicals all got an airing. Beemer Dave headed to Collie whilst the remaining six headed home via Lower Hotham Road and Dwellingup. A wave of motorcycles arrived just after we left.
Lots of bikes and motorcycles out enjoying the stunning weather. Thanks to Swampy for shepherding the septet.

JP left early and may not have been there when you counted. I thought there was 29 in total.
