4 x Stalwarts braved some early Summer heat today, Peter, Brian/5, Digger and Swampy met up in Mundaring and with Peter once again elected Ride leader took a zig zag course from Mundaring to O'Brian Road, back across Toodyay Rd. on through Wooroloo up to Clackline where we deviated to Northam before taking the scenic route to the CC Cafe in Toodyay where the water spray fans were working overtime as Brian mentioned the Temp. reached 37C.
We discussed Diggers 2019 Itinerary amongst other relevant topics over a leisurely lunch before the group split with Digger and Brian/5 opting for Julimar Road whilst Peter high tailed it back to suburbia along Clackline and Grt. Eastern Hwy. with Peter ducking off to do some more twisty windy's home whilst I took the Mundaring Weir Road through to Roleystone and home via the Brookton Hwy.
Thank you Peter for an excellent, interesting and well led ride!

Thanks Swampy for being TEC and all the team for an enjoyable ride. Luckily I figured out how to remove some of the panels of my Dririder jacket to allow air to circulate in the mid 30’s temps. Our first warm weather ride.

Of rugged mountain ranges, of droughts and flooding rains.
I love her far horizons, I love her jeweled sea.
Her beauty and her terror, the wide brown land for me."
