Wednesday Ride this week,

Post by Swampy »

It looks like the weather on Thursday is going to be rather tropical so I have decided that this weeks ride will be on Wednesday 30th!!

Meet at the Dome in Mundaring at 0900 for a 0915 departure for those interested in joining the ride!!

Group decision on Sunday was a destination of Goomalling but that will be subject to change if deemed necessary by the majority on the day!!

Hi Goldie, Maybe better to meet up at the Dome in Mundaring as traffic can be an issue at times!!

If you can make it I will see you around 0900 okay?

Goldie is meeting me at the Narrogin Inn on the Cnr. of Albany Hwy and South Western Hwy Armadale at 0800 tomorrow morning and from there we will ride through the hills via Mundaring Weir to the Dome Cafe for 0900.

Anyone interested in joining us from Armadale let me know so I can watch out for you!!

What an amazing ride today, perfect weather and almost no traffic for most of the ride. After meeting Swampy and Goldie at the Narrogin Inn we headed off up into the hills for a completely uninterrupted ride to Mundaring. No takers at The Dome so we headed off to the lakes then found Yarra rd, Talbot rd West and Knott rd into York. York Northam rd and Katrine rd, Toodyay rd for lunch in Toodyay. After departing Toodyay we headed down Folewood rd and Sandplains rd onto Toodyay rd. Exit stage left via Stoneville and weaving our way through the hills to Tonkin highway we each headed home. Winding roads, glorious weather and good mateship made for a top ride today. Thanks Swampy and greatly appreciate the route you took today. :P
